-At the end of runway 18 there's a medium-sided mound which was recently found (as of 26 Jan 2010). It has the height over the fence and is suitable to spot the plane during the time when runway 18 is used.
+On West Tianshan Rd you can find a suitable location to spot both runways 18LR's apporaching movements (although only 18L is used to land).
-Transportation: Take bus No. 141 to the final stop SuiNing Rd, and walk back about 100 meters. When you see a construction site at the east part of the road, you should find a small path on the left. Walk along the path and you'll find the mound.
+Transportation: After passing the bridge over the Outer Ring Road, walk along West Tianshan Rd for around 700m and you will find the location with the runway on your left hand side..
-It's only suitable for spotting in the morning because it will be backlight since 12 p.m.
