The airport has hosted Boeing 747's (including Air Force One), but as of 2017, the largest aircraft on scheduled routes to and from RSW is the Air Berlin Airbus A330-200. Delta Air Lines Airbus A330-300's ocassionally operate during peak travel times to and from Minneapolis/St. Paul International Airport. Delta 767-300's also operate seasonally between Minneapolis/St. Paul and Fort Myers. Miami Air operates quite a few charters here using 737-400s and 737-800s.
