Official Spotting Locations

Aircraft Viewing Area

To get there from southbound I-95, exit on Griffin and turn left at the 4th light. Take your first left (it's a dead end, you can't miss it,) and follow that road. At the second stop sign, turn left and after a short distance you will be parallel to northbound I-95. Follow the sign and you're there. For photography, this spot is only good for takeoffs from 27R. For 9L ops, the fence will be in your way. Some people bring ladders, which is allowed, but you must stay within the parking surface. It is also not recommended to poke your lense through the fence. The viewing area has a loudspeaker that broadcasts the ATC.

Hibiscus Garage

At the top of the Hibiscus parking structure is another official viewing area where it faces the space between Terminal A and B. This is a good location for aircraft landing/taxiing to 27R as well as 9L departures.
