Louisville Muhammad Ali International Airport (SDF/KSDF) is the main airport serving the Louisville area in northern Kentucky. It is home to the UPS Worldport, the main hub for shipping giant UPS. The hub can handle 115 packages each second. The airport itself is located on the south side of Louisville off of Interstate 264, or Watterson Expressway. The terminal has two concourses and 23 gates. In 2018 the airport handled 3.8 million passengers and 2.8 million tons of air cargo.
