Cyprus is part of the European Union; it has adopted the Euro as currency. Sport clubs participate in European championships. Would it be an option to categorize Cyprus both in "Europe" and "Middle East" - in a similar way as Russia is categorized as "Europe" and "Asia" ? On the other hand, Turkey is only categorized as "Europe" even though the majority of its landmass is in Asia ...
