The more I spot the more I add, anything else needed? Trying to think if there is anything more I/We can add to the page. -MK

  • Hi. This is my first post. I suggest the following additions:
Ongoing Construction
How about some information on the ongoing construction that we see at the airfield? LAX is closing and removing Taxiway Q to allow for future additions to the TBIT (Tom Bradley International Terminal). Before that happens, they had to move the Eagle's Nest (the remote terminals for American Eagle) from its former location at the intersection of Taxiways S and C to its new location at Taxiway C5. There is now ongoing construction at C14-C13 to E13 to create a new Taxiway R to link the north and south complexes. Also the First Station replacement is just starting and will be reconstructed at C14. Anyone think that this is interesting?
Frequencies
LAX ramp control frequencies (I know, I need to add this to RadioReference too): American Airlines Ramp - 129.32500 Alaska/TBIT Ramp - 130.85000 Delta Ramp - 131.45000 United Airlines RampC6 - 129.40000 United Airlines RampC7 - 129.50000. If you are listing to LAX Ground or Tower frequencies, I recommend that you add these ramp tower frequencies to your scanner to get a complete picture.

Does anyone think that this information is worthy of addition to the article? Streltzer 21:24, 14 February 2010 (UTC)

  • Sure! Construction can affect where aircraft move around the airport, thus it can be of interest to spotters. The ramp control frequencies are good too; we don't have a space for them in the infobox; you can just add a section to the article about them. -- David 17:55, 15 February 2010 (UTC)
