I recently tried the cemetery spot that had been listed but was quickly greeted by APD and was told that I would have to leave unless I was there visiting someone in particular. I have moved it to locations to avoid.

This seemed odd to me. I fly commercially through AUS about once every 2 to 3 weeks and we almost always get 17L with the exceptions being when it is closed for maintenance, as it was the on my last time there.
