The airport has hosted (two?) Boeing 747's (including Air Force One), and beginning in early May in 2018, the largest aircraft on scheduled routes to and from RSW will be Eurowings A330-200's, operated by Brussels Airlines and SunExpress Deutschland. Delta Air Lines Airbus A330-300's ocassionally operate during peak travel times to and from Minneapolis/St. Paul International Airport. Delta 767-300's also operate seasonally between Minneapolis/St. Paul and Fort Myers. Additionally, Miami Air operates quite a few charters here using 737-400s and 737-800s.


Service Announcements

  • Eurowings, with A330-200 aircraft operated by SunExpress Deutschland, will start seasonal flights to Munich and Cologne/Bonn, starting on May 1st and May 4th, respectively. Eurowings will also start flights to Düsseldorf with A330-200 aircraft on May 3rd, operated by Brussels Airlines.
