Retford (Gamston) is a small airfield, with the majority of traffic being light aircraft belonging to the airfield's many flying schools. However, it does see some bizjet traffic, and there are even a couple based here. It is well worth a visit if passing.

Runway 03 end
Come off the A1 at the junction with the B6387, and head towards Retford. Take the first turning on the left after the A1 slip road, you get an uninterrupted view of all arrivals on runway 03 from either side, as well as a good view across the airfield, with only a low fence in front of you.
Locations to Avoid
General / club aviation. There are also some bizjet movements, with a Citation and some twin props based on the airfield. There is also an active gliding club, so on the weekends you can expect plenty of gliders.
