IND is the main airport for Indianapolis, Indiana. Indianapolis International Airport is the largest airport in the state of Indiana. It is served buy twelve airlines, and it is a focus city for both Northwest Airlines and AirTran. In addition, it is a hub for shipping giant FedEx. IND is owned by the City of Indianapolis and operated by the BAA.

Facilities and Transportation

The airport has a four concourse terminal and a total of 36 gates. At the moment, a new midfield horse-shaped terminal is being constructed that will have a total of 40 gates with three dedicated to international traffic.
