Turn into Research Park off of Raymond Stotzer Pkwy at Research Pkwy. Take the first right onto Technology Loop. Park after the second bridge and walk across the frisbee golf course. You'll end up on a hill overlooking 2818 right near the end of runway 16. This location is not very good for landings on winter afternoons.

There is two-hour parking right next to the tower. The only fence is waist-high, and many of the larger charter airplanes park right there.

Turn into the airport at George Bush Drive, and make a left at Nuclear Science Road, just before the large-scale wind tunnel. Take Nuclear Science past the fire training school. It loops all the way around the end of runway 34. There are a few places to stop along the road.
