The Jetport is a largely seasonal airport seeing heavy service from mainline jets in the summer, but light traffic from mostly Regional Jets in the winterSpotting opportunities at the airport are limited, but there are a number of sites around the airport perimeter which offer views of aircraft movement.
The '''Bangor International Airport''' is a regional airport located in Bangor, Maine. The Bangor airport sees light service from several US Legacy airlines, made up of primarily light Regional Jet traffic.  The airport is also an active Maine Air National Guard Base and a popular diversion destination for transatlantic flights and troop charters.  Bangor often acts as a port of entry for US soldiers returning to the states, seeing 2-3 widebody charter aircraft or diversions on an average day.
