The airport is very friendly for spotters. There is a big free observation deck which faces the runway in Terminal One and two free observation decks, one of which faces the taxi way, in Terminal Two. They are open from 8 AM to 8 PM. The light condition for runway in Terminal One is good until 10 am. In the afternoon you can still take photographs of the airliners on the taxi way to Terminal Two.

The [https://www.aeromuseum.or.jp/en/ Museum of Aeronautical Sciences] opened their rooftop on October 1, 2025. Tickets are distributed on a first-come, first-served basis for three 30 minute sessions, 11am, 1pm, and 3pm, with a maximum of 30 people per session.
